Benny Uyetake is a musician and an educator who born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii. He is a recipient of the Na Hoku Hanohano Award with Ken Martinez Burgmaier, Dennis Kamakahi, Brother Noland, Kevin Brown, Sonny Lim, Cindy Combs, and Sonny Lim. He plays a variety of musical styles, such as Contemporary and classic Hawaiian music, pop favorites and a touch of jazz, rock, and blues.
